Ahh...Yes...Same ol' same ol' post...

Well, four weeks was up on Saturday. 4 weeks since I have taken the dreadfully awful test. Scroll back into the posts about my feeling after my test. A girl's gut feeling must always be trusted. I didn't pass for the 5th time. However, I did find out from my licensing officer that as of July 1, 2010 they are no longer requiring a minor for Minnesota. So I don't have to take the test to be able to be certified in Minnesota anymore...Once, I am approved for Minnesota I can be approved for Wisconsin without my middle school social studies add-on. (Bummer) But hopefully, Wisconsin will accept everything and I will be able to teach grades 1-6. Ahhhh! The HOOPS!

Pictures to come of the new furniture we have purchased!!!

0, 6, 7!!!

Temperature = 0 degrees
Time = 6am
Miles ran = 7!

Whoa! This run was a blast and seriously insprirational to me! "Surround yourself with the people you aspire to be"... I can't say that I was surrounded by the running club throughout the entire run...But I was with them most of the way...Its a start!

I looked like a melting snow-women when I was done...

Snowshoeing

Joel and I had a first opportunity to go snowshoeing together. Let me tell you how wonderful our friends are...First, we have friend that allowed us to use their snowshoes. Next, I ran into our friend's neighbor and they told us to use their trails! Then, Joel and I went trekking through their beautiful forest. After we were finished and all sweaty we were just going to let the people know we were leaving and they had a roast and potatoes waiting for us! How wonderful! IT WAS TRULY a fun time and amazing conversation!

I don't feel different...

So I took my test again on Saturday...You would think a person would feel different about the test after the 5th time. However, I studied and studied...I didn't feel a single bit of difference. It was still really hard! I thought I would say to myself, "WOW! This was good, there were some answers that I knew!" Except that wasn't the case at all. Oh well, 4 weeks of waiting just to tell you the same result, if I am going on feelings here...

The rest of the weekend was filled with working at Maggie's and watching football! I invited friends over right after I was finished with work. Joel made a wonderful supper and little munchies! I am constantly impressed by him! He made something from a TV show he watched the day before! Way to go! It was yummy!

The weather is finally going to warm up...That will make it easier to run outside! RUN! RUN! RUN!

No camera, no bag, busy, busy, busy...

I feel like it was a just a weekend and now we are back at school. We had a chance to visit my parents ! It was amazing! Family friends came home and we played board games! Laughter and time with family is fantastic! I forgot my camera, so I don't have any pictures! Joel and I also went to his parents and had a wonderful meal!

The few days we were at home, I had to work at Maggie's. On New Year's Eve I also had to work. I arrived home thinking I just need to pack a few things before we go to Mineral Point (Joel's home town). So I did this quickly and handed my bag to Joel to put in the car. (I had to grab a few other things) We were out the door in 15 mins. Well....We pulled into our friend's driveway and I asked Joel to grab my bag out of the back seat as I was carrying many things and he said, "Ahhh, about that..." Joel had left my bag at the house! I didn't have any of the things I packed...Ahhhh!!!! Good thing we have wonderful friends that let me barrow what I needed for 3 days! It was also very lucky that we didn't need to go or do anything special!

This week is full as well! I have my test (again) on Saturday! Please think of me at 11:00! Telepathically send me some of your knowledge about Social Studies!!!

I am also starting to train for my spring race...A marathon or half marathon that is the question...One friend says, "Go big, or go home..." another says, "I know what should be realistic..." Ummm, I don't know! I'll keep you posted!

Enjoy the frigidness...
